Your personal wet plate collodion session in the setting for photography!
On invitation of the Galerie WestLicht, we are very pleased to be able to portray you, in the context of the exhibition: ÉDOUARD BALDUS, Transit and Monument (05.04-21.07.2019) in the middle of the gallery.
The portrait session will take place on 08.06.2019 from 11:00 to 19:00.

GUEST AT THE FESCH MARKET VIENNA
14.-16. Juli 2019
From 14 to 16 July, the Ottakringer Brauerei will be home to the largest Fesch market in Austria. Among the approx. 220 exhibitors and artists, there will be a tent outside with our mobile darkroom. You are welcome to look over our shoulders live. On these three days you can have your portrait taken with us, or your loved ones. There will also be some fine prints and other art delicacies for sale at our booth. We are already looking forward to seeing you!

WORKSHOP ALBUMINDRUCK

Albumen printing was the most popular printing process used in the century before last and the beginning of photography as an industrial product. Although an improved version of salt printing based on silver chloride, album printing dominated for decades until the 1930s. Famous artists, Margaret Julia Cameron, Eugene Atget and others used this printing process; not least because of its increased density and brilliance as well as improved detail. In this 2-day workshop you will learn how to create album prints; from the production of the albumin, to the coating of the paper, to exposure to natural and artificial light, to contrast control and toning. You are welcome to bring your large-format negatives (if available) as well as digital image files to check the suitability for albumin or salt printing. We will be happy to show you how to create suitable digital negatives for this printing process.
The workshop will take place on 05. and 06.06.2020 from 10:00 to 10:00 in our studio at Zieglergasse 34, 1070 Vienna.
The course fee is € 250,-.

It was a pleasure for us to participate in this year’s Art Market Budapest again!
A big compliment to the management and the organization of the Art Market for the great exhibition with fantastic artists in these challenging times.
We would especially like to thank all the great people of whom we had the opportunity to take unique tintype portraits with our cameras.
This year we represented our project #wieneralchemisten together with the Photon Gallery. Here are some impressions that we have put together for you from this unique and great art fair in Budapest.
